FINOO list horses for Bangalore, Sunday card (May 31):

There are four horses on the FINOO (Follow-In-Next-Outing-Only) list that find their names on the Sunday (May 31) card:

Let The River Run (1-6)

a) Running at the same or similar level (Picked up 6 points' penalty for the last run second, which is within our definition of the "same" level although, technically, now runs in class IV, 4y only as against open class V last time)

b) Running over the same trip (1600m)

c) Ridden by the same jockey (Suraj Narredu)

Satisfies ALL conditions.

A WIN bet.

One (5-7)

a) Running at the lower level (From open class III last time to same class, 4y&over now)

b) Running over + or - 200m trip (1600m last time; 1400m now)

c) Ridden by the same jockey (S John)

Satisfies ALL conditions.

A WIN bet.

Splendid Surprise (6-1)

a) Running at the same level (Terms, 4y&over, Grade 3)

b) Running over + or - 200m trip (From 1400 to 1600)

c) Ridden by the same jockey (Harish)

Satisfies ALL conditions.

A WIN bet.

Win Prettybaby (7-8)

a) Running at the similar level (This horse too picked up 6 points' penalty for the last run second, which is within our definition of the "same" level although, technically, now runs in class III, 4y&over as against open class IV, 4y&over last time)

b) Running over the same trip (1400m)

c) Ridden by the same, similar or better jockey (Ridden by S John last time, now goes out with Ms Lisa Jones. This is a difficult call, and as usual I will err on the side of caution and say 'NO'.)

Satisfies 2 of 3 conditions.

NO WIN bet.

Good luck.

  2. Why do you think Lisa Jones is not better than S JOhn? Anyone is a better jockey than S John. Back win pretty baby each way at least.

  3. I thought you gave 4 bets when I visited yesterday. Now when I saw win pretty baby is NOT a bet you recommend. So pl make it stand out in may be red colour or many people in hurry will get wrong idea.

  6. Dear Mr gosavi, I downloaded your excellent toolbar but had to delete it because I don't want my kids to see it when they use computer. Can you give it online on a site like I can use it when I am online instead of downloading it?

  7. Dear Ravi,
I just realized you had all the three races right yesterday. Good work. Keep it up.

  8. Dear PMK,
I am a bit confused about what you want. Because you don't have to uninstall or delete the toolbar if you want no one else to see it. All you do is go to "View" on the browser, click "Toolbars". You will see a list of toolbars that are loaded on your browser adn one of them will read "Prakash Gosavi's Toolbar". It will have a tick sign against its name meaning it is visible on the browser right now. Just click it (it will get un-ticked) so that it becomes invisible right away. Later, when you are again on the computer and want to switch it on, repeat the same steps, it will start showing up again. All it takes is two clicks to make it visible or invisible, and that surely is not too much labour, is it?

  11. Dear Mr Prakash gosavi,

i do agree on two of the three FINOO - Let & ONE. I am a bit wary of SPLENDID.Win may not be a good bet and may place if lucky.

    Regarding other races i like SIPH in 2nd,RETRO (E/w) in 3rd & ORIENTATION ( E/W) in last

The very best of luck to you

  12. Ravi 3/3 is 100%,but dont get carried away.Post only sure bets (could be two or three) and that will look sensible....

  13. I would prefer "Arcadian" any day....."Icebreaker" always looked good........even today she looks fit for the fray.

  15. Dear Mr Swamy,
I just hope Splendid will '"surprise" again. As you know, FINOO completely forbids me to look at the rivals, so I am absolutely ignorant of the so-called relative merits of others in the race. That's why I always love to hear other viewpoints. Thank you.

  16. Jawnsin, I don't think that's possible in google blog, at least I couldn't find it in comment settings. Let me know if you know how to do it. But I also have a feeling more people would like to read in chronological order from top to bottom. But then, I could be wrong.

  18. Dear Prakash:

This is just for your information. Probably you might as well know these information still I am posting.

Considering the last 6 meetings of BNG and FINOO - A WIN BET recommeded by you works out a strike rate of success 46.66.Of course I have not related this to the odds at which the horse has won. It is just the rate of successful winners.

Please revert with your comments if possible.

    Warm regards
    RAVI

    ReplyDelete
  19. Dear Ravi,
I think the strike rate only for Bangalore so far should be 50% and not 46.66% as you say. Have a look at CP's post, and you can see that the last 12 bets (starting from bet #8 Trillion Win) are Bangalore bets and of them exactly half (6) have won.

  20. Mr ravi, mr gosavi & mr cp what all of you have missed is that for bangalore barring the first bet (trillion win) the next 11 horses have placed (6 winners among them) giving the strike rate of 91.7% which is shocking. Today morning only i read on mr nair's blog someone said a bookmaker was prepared to give 5 lakh or something for straight 10 successful bets place/win. looks like finoo has already done it. To me this looks like a dream system even if it needs time to be tested fully.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Simply speaking, I got Rs 3726 on a Rs 500/ roll-on place bet against(1-6)(5-7)(6-1).

  22. Let the negatives in CP's list show up in red.

  23. Dear sad sack,
comments cannot be formatted, so nothing can be done to distinguish besides the + or - signs.
Also, CP is out of India and will return only in the first week of August, so from this week I have started keeping win/place score of my "recommended" bets on the home page of my blog on racing days. Once in a while, I will also look at the score as per CP's recommendation (All FINOO horses as place bets WITHOUT any qualifier rules) to check its progress.
