Calypso Star (left frame) was withdrawn, while Act Of Duty (right) gave anxious moments to followers before decisively winning by half a length at the wire. [Pic source: BTC race video]

Watch out on this blog: The mathematics of "LUCK", an article that will scientifically discuss whether FINOO bets' last 12 PLACE successes in a row are a matter of the system's power or just plain luck?

  3. I checked all sports channels on tata sky but couldnt get the race. Betfair listed it as uk time 3.45 so I thought the real time would be +5.30 hrs that is 9.15 IST so how was it run earlier? Doesn't make sense. Anyway thanks for update.

  5. I am not sure I get you. That is precisely what I am doing. I talk only about the horses that got onto the FINOO list on account of their last run, and have chosen to run on the day's card.
Well, if you mean why I am not publishing the entire FINOO list as it stands today, the reason is obvious. Even a 10 year old child can then apply the qualifier rules and choose bets, and no one will need to come to this blog except to check additions to the FINOO list. Also, it would be unkind to a small group of people (my private clients) who have stood by me through all the research (investing time and money).
    I am sure you understand.

  6. Hi-All FINOO friends.

Today we have two FINOO horses in CALYPSO STAR and ACT OF DUTY. Both a Win Bet.

Now the TF,FF,PP and PR of Calyso Star far superior to that of others that it becomes the kill.KILL No.2 after SANS PAREIL.I am of the view that there is very little room for this horse to loose.

Same is not the case with ACT OF DUTY. The TF,FF,PP and PR do not reflect well to the level of requirement.

They say one should not put all the egg in one basket. But i am going to put all my eggs in CALYPSO STAR and leave ACT OF DUTY.

By the way I grateful to Prakash for his compliments on my selection of FAIR OPTION.

    goodday. See you next week

    RAVI

  7. Just to avoid confusion. RAVI HYDERABAD & RAVI are two different persons.
The latter is the one who talks about TF & FF etc, and who yesterday had given Fair Option as a good bet.

  8. The first list shows the win strike rate % with a "W".The second should show a "P" instead.

  9. The Win-Loss matrix (as it is called in gambling terminology) is always represented as W for win and L for loss.

Win or place, after all it is a bet. You have either (W)on the bet or (L)ost it. So it makes sense to show the success as W and failure as L, especially as the title explains whether it is a WIN or PLACE bet.

  11. I think there is mistake in your roi calculation. I have prepared your chart and the performance is actually much better. Or have I made a mistake? Pl clarify.

  12. Dear Mr Well wisher,
Have you taken the tote figures of Bangalore Tote (BTC) when you calculated these figures?
Frankly, CP was doing all the calculations and I never really bothered to check, but I still don't think he could make such a blunder of showing half the roi (you are saying 34% for win, right?)
Anyway, it looks like you have done this job on a spreadsheet (maybe Excel) so why don't you send the file to me at gosavi@mid-day.com so that I can check the details myself?
It will be a real shame if you are right and we are wrong. And in that case, I will have to sincerely thank you so please disclose your complete identity when you send the mail.
    Thanks.

  13. On second thoughts I don't know if you are right but CP was surely wrong. I just checked some of his posts and it seems he has debited losses twice. Like he is listing "returns" and includes the bet amount in that (like +2,300), then for a loser he should have taken return as zero and not -1,000. Sorry I never bothered to do it myself (too much laziness, I guess).
Anyway, I hope you are still online to read this. Please rush the file. Thanks in advance.

  14. Let CP's list show the actual amount won,If lost it should show as -1000.Then you would have no more confusions.

  17. Thank you Anand (well wisher) for your file. You are absolutely right. Thanks for letting us know FINOO is far better than we were projecting it to be.
I am making changes to this page, but not making any changes to old pages as I want CP (who is out of India at the moment) to check them himself when he has time or when he comes back.
    Thanks again.

  18. Ravi Shanker Hyderabad is the same as RAVI HYD. He is my student. He occasionally comments here. To avoid confusion I have today told him to use V Ravi Shanker (his full name) when commenting. Hope that will help.

YOU ARE RIGHT ON YOUR STATEMENT BUT WHAT I WANT TO SAY IS WHY CANT YOUR FINOO HORSES LIST COME OUT ON HANDICAPS ? OR ACCEPTANCE AS TO WHICH HORSES ARE ON THE FINOO LIST EXPECTED TO RUN , THEN OFFCOURSE YOUR FINAL DECISION ONCE THE JOCKEYS ETC ARE DECLARED. I THINK IF YOU DO IT THIS WAY THE GENUINITY OF THE FINOO LIST IS NOT DOUBTED AS WELL AS YOUR CONDITIONS ABOVE ARE SATISFIED.
    PLEASE HAVE A THOUGHT
