Sunday (May 17) races

Watch the first week's races (race# 1 to 17) on out Toolbar TV. It's safe & secure and only takes seconds to install. [Pic & videos: (c) BTC]

For the second day of the Bangalroe Summer racing season, there are two horses on the FINOO list that figure in the race card: Rhapsidion Snow (6-3) & Silken Thomas (8-5).

Rhapsidion Snow (6-3)

a) Running at the same or lower level (4y&over, Gr 2 to Gr 3 now)

b) Running over 200m extra (1200m from 1400)

c) Ridden by inferior jockey (David Allan to Aadesh Kumar)

Satisfies 2 of 3 conditions.

No bet.

(Note: Very rarely a horse shows the kind of pattern that Rhapsidion Snow showed when losing to Oasis Star in her last run at Mumbai, and one would be extremely tempted to make her exception this time though she is clearly going out with lesser form jockey. But discipline cannot be sacrificed at the altar of such tempations, strictly a NO BET. And no regret even if Rhapsidion Snow wins on Sunday.)

Silken Thomas (8-5)

a) Running at the same or lower level (open Class III to Class III, 4y&o)

b) Running over 200m shorter trip (1200m from 1400)

c) Ridden by inferior jockey (C D Hayes to Ryan Marshall)

Satisfies 2 of 3 conditions.

No bet.

Good luck.

  1. Dear Prakash:

Excellent Excellent. I really appreciate what you write about discipline cannot be sacrificed at the altar of such tempations, strictly a NO BET. And no regret. This is the first lesson which every punter is to understand if he wants to make money in horse racing.

Yesterday your FINOO horse was Trillion win. Now I added some more parameters like TF and FF.It was still not coming as clear cut winner like the Giant or Devilitto. So I applied some more parameters like Speed of Speed and pace shape as suggested by JIM LEHANE. Yet Trillion win was not coming as a clear cut winner. It could have been either way. So I skipped the race.

Prakash you are on the right track. The day when all parameters satisfy the FINOO horse it is going to be a KILL. believe me. I have done this exercise for quite a few horses and still at it. I have no hesitation in recording that by the time BNG and PUNE ends there will be number of horses which fall under KILL and on that DAY I will go for it.

Any way thanks for all the posting and keep going. Take my word it will pay you handomely.

    Warm regards.

  2. Thanks for the tv channel. Its great. But its showing "1-7 or 8 races". What if i want to watch only 8th? I have to wait for 7 to finish?

  3. The channel will roll, without interruption, all 8 races in sequence (by the way this saves a lot of time and clicks as the first day's races take only 11 minutes to view), but that is if you want to view them that way.
But the control is in your hands. When it says 1-7 of 8 races it also shows 1-7 thumbnail images at bottom. You can click any of them to view that particular race. And if you want to see the 8th race directly, then click the small arrowhead that shows up on the right of the 7th race thumbnail image, it will take you to the 8th race.
At any time while viewing you can go to next race or last race by clicking the arrows on the side walls of the screen.
Enjoy the toobar TV with its great features.
    Cheers!

  5. If you put a gun to my temple and forced me to bet for place, I might consider betting She's A Diamond (3-8) & Spirituall (6-6). :)

  6. You were lucky Sad Sack did not put a gun to your temple Prakash! I don't know about the last couple of years as I was abroad but before that I remember Ryan Marshall always rides very well in the first couple of weeks when not all top riders are around or not in top form. You made a mistake in underrating him compared to D Allen.

  7. What luck it was withdrawn at the last moment...I mean not the horse "She's A Diamond" but the gun."Spiritual",... would never ever have been anywhere close as there was nothing near the temple....
