FINOO
(Follow-In-Next-Outing-Only) bet
for Saturday (Aug 1) PUNE races:

Carmen (2-3)

Ponyta (7-6) [Added at 8.25 pm]
(Please note that I had missed this horse as it was in a hidden row in my file. The mare may not be fancied at all, but that does not make any difference to my FINOO tipping. Because for a FINOO horse, we ignore everything from rivals to odds to stable intentions. Ponyta, on her own strength, definitely qualifies as a FINOO bet tomorrow.)

Good luck.

  1. Dear Mr.Prakash Gosavi:

I really like this. You have the guts and spine to spell out just one horse in race irrespective of the results. Many Many leading tipsters normally opt for three or four choices leaving the poor public to select.

Across the globe the best handicappers rate of success is just 35% so what if one or two FINOO horses do not through. Keep going Praksah. You are doing a wonderful job.

It is very easy to critise but hard to do and delvier.

    My best wishes for FINOO.

    Warm regards

    SIVARAM

  2. I dont agree with sivaram. This is not guts. Its too much blind faith in finoo. ponyta no chance.

  3. Dear Sivaram & Zahid,
My tipping Ponyta is neither guts nor 'too much blind faith'. It is a simple act of putting on record a FINOO bet that I had missed mentioning in the first place.

FINOO trial deserves to be honest, so any bet--however unfancied or so-called non-trier--HAS to come on record. Only then, FINOO statistics will be realistic, meaningful--and dependable.

  17. Attn all:

As most of you are aware, Mr Gosavi spends Saturday evenings counselling with cancer patients and their relatives. Tomorrow's FINOO selections therefore will be posted late tonight or tomorrow morning, depending on what time he gets free.

  19. Thanks for all those nice words guys, but please excuse me tonight as I am too tired to open the file now and check the FINOO bets for Sunday. But I assure you I will do it first thing in the morning tomorrow. Thanks and be sure I will reply to you all tomorrow.

  20. Dear NeelaGhoda,
    About MiD DAY selections:
Whenever MiD DAY does not carry selections either in print edition or on the Net, they are technically not published as MiD DAY selections, and I don't think it is ethical to carry them as such. I will check today's edition, and if they have carried the same, be sure you will find a copy here on this blog. After all, please understand the copyright lies with MiD DAY and not with me.

Dear HorseMouth (SP Singh), Giri, Danish Khan, Dev, Stephen, Neeraj, Libero (Santhosh), P. Shiva & Ashish: Thanks!

    Dear Stephen,
Racing is a great leveler. Today Zahid was wrong, tomorrow it could be FINOO's turn, you never know. The only thing we can do is sincerely try our best at all times.

    Dear Jawnsin,
I wanted to highlight the fact that Ponyta was added AFTER Carmen was tipped. So those who checked in when only Carmen was listed would hopefully see the red lettered Ponyta even if they visited again in a hurry. Also I wanted to explain why Ponyta was posted late and why, even if she would most probably run friendless, she still commanded as a FINOO bet.

And no, I have not stopped acknowledging replies, it's only that Saturdays are extremely hectic with my personal commitments to some cause taking priority over everything else including racing and this blog.
